The Country Manager holds a pivotal role in the overseeing of the Commercial Function and the delivery of sales goals.
The Country Manager will be part of the core management team driving the global goals across the organization as well.

What youll be doing:
Commercial Success:
- Developing and executing strategic plans to meet sales targets
- Monitoring and managing all sales activities within the region
- Managing merchant portfolio, develop and upsell
- Leading the local commercial function to generate a robust sales pipeline
- Collaborating with global and regional sales units to onboard global and enterprise-level merchants
- Analyzing and enhancing sales efficiency
- Develop and refine customer satisfaction strategies
- Motivating and nurturing the local sales team for optimal performance
- Facilitate cross functional collaboration and breaking down silos within the organization
- Ensuring alignment of local management with organizational goals
- Investing in the development and management of talent within the region
- Possess a deep understanding of local market complexities and share insights with broader organization
- Being representative of PayU GPO in local payment bodies
- Represent PayU GPO in the press and during events / conferences
- Responsible for negotiations with the banks and acquirers and alternative payments providers in order to optimize costs
- Negotiate with payment organizations
- Promote and foster organizations culture
- Ensure the company operates in an ethical business manager
- Provide strategic input into the product roadmap based on regional market requirements
- Ensure alignment between the commercial function and global functions to maximize operational efficiency
- Identify and address any process gaps and inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
- Responsibility for full country financial results
- Work closely with commercial finance team to ensure pricing of products are accurate and updated
- Track sales achievements weekly and quarterly
- 7+ years of sales experience, ideally in similar B2B environment,
- 5+ years of experience of leading cross functional team, ideally as a country or side lead,
- 5+ years of experience in payments, banking or financial domain,
- eCommerce payments / ecommerce payment processing experience,
- Experience in partnership lead and account management,
- Experience in working within global, cross functional organization,
- Experience in budget management, forecasting, pricing, account profitability review,
- Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast paced environment with the multiple competing priorities,
- Ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with all internal and external teams including sales, business development, marketing, and product management,
- Ability to drive decisions, take action, and roll up your sleeves and dive into the work,
- Superb articulation, communications, and overall leadership capabilities,
