Our client a courier company is looking for experienced and qualified drivers to deliver and pick up packages from local businesses and residences
This business type has need for full and part-time drivers to fill various schedules

Requirements, Driver must:
- be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- have minimum one (3) year commercial driving experience within last three years
- be able to read, speak and write English
- pass criminal background check, drug test, and DOT physical
- be able to complete and pass a road test
- be of legal status to work in the Republic of South Africa
- have clean criminal record, no misdemeanors or felonies in the past 10 years
- be able to safely lift/carry up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- pass the company Ground approval process to become a qualified driver
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be on site at the terminal on time and ready to work each work day
- be able to climb stairs
- be able to work in all types of weather
- be able to work when it gets dark
- be able to do a lot of walking at a steady pace
- be able to adapt to situations to meet customers’ needs
- know the importance of safety
Daily Duties include but not limited to:
- Perform daily Pre & Post inspection on vehicle and submit written report
- Efficiently pack vehicle for deliveries
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with operating officer
- Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process
- Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
- Your truck must be operated safely at all times
