KEY ROLE TO GROW CRAFT SALES INTO CORPORATE AND RETAIL CHANNELS
REPORTS TO CRAFT TRADING UNIT MANAGER
ALSO INVOLVED IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT, TRAINING AND CRAFTER CAPACITY-BUILDING AS REQUIRED
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENCE AND OWN VEHICLE WOULD BE AN ADVANTAGE
MUST BE A SELF-MOTIVATED TEAM PLAYER
Responsibilities
- effectively communicating craft products and services to all stakeholders
- Increasing sales of craft products produced by an existing network of craft suppliers into the corporate, wholesale and retail channels
- closing existing opportunities or leads
- prospecting new clients
- maintaining existing clients and identifying opportunities for growth across all sales channels
- achieving monthly sales revenue targets
- effective craft sales administration and record-keeping including weekly updating of sales chase-list
- working closely with craft unit team to develop samples for clients
- providing support to craft unit team where necessary
- being accountable for all phases of the sales cycle including implementation and delivery of client projects and after sales service
