Minimum Requirements
- Red Seal certification or equivalent qualification in relevant trade (e.g., Millwright, Heavy Equipment Technician, etc.).
- Experience in maintenance and repair of heavy lifting machinery, with a focus on cranes and rolling machines.
- Proficiency in hydraulics, electronics, and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Ability to travel extensively, including to countries in Africa, and willingness to work in diverse environments and conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
- Experience in using diagnostic tools and software for equipment analysis and performance monitoring.
- Physical fitness and manual dexterity to handle heavy equipment components and perform maintenance tasks.
- Valid passport, with the ability to travel internationally on short notice.

- Conducting regular maintenance and repair work on traveling cranes, rolling machines, and other heavy lifting machinery.
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Performing inspections, diagnosing faults, and implementing corrective actions as per manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Traveling to client sites, including remote locations within Africa, to provide technical support, maintenance, and repair services.
- Collaborating with engineering teams to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand equipment configurations and operational requirements.
- Utilizing diagnostic tools and software to analyze equipment performance and identify potential issues.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols and regulations at all times, both on-site and during travel.
- Providing training and guidance to client personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and maintenance schedules.
