Job Purpose
The Credit Risk and Cash Flow Manager is responsible for minimizing credit risk and managing the organizations cash inflow. This role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial processes to support the overall financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Verification: Approve purchase orders, trading term credit notes, and master data reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with VAT Act.
- Master Data Management: Review and approve customer credit limits in accordance with the debtors policy.
- Query Management: Address escalated queries professionally and within agreed timeframes, highlighting issues to relevant sales and customer management teams.
- Reporting: Oversee age analysis reconciliations, agent commission calculations, weekly cash flow reviews, and month-end processing. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of debtor reports, insurance reconciliations, and CGIC management.
- People Management: Manage employee performance, set development goals, and support team growth. Lead and motivate the team to achieve high performance and handle special projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Qualifications: BCom or equivalent degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
- Skills:
- Team management experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- High numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work systematically under pressure.
- ERP and advanced MS Office exposure.
- Experience in similar roles within large organizations.
- Additional certifications related to finance or risk management.
