As the Customer Executive, you will be a crucial driver of business success, responsible for developing and implementing channel strategies, managing key customer accounts, and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain robust customer relationships in a dynamic and competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Strategy Formulation and Implementation:
- Develop and execute effective channel strategies to expand market reach and enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer behavior, and industry dynamics to stay ahead of the competition.
- Leverage insights to inform strategic decision-making, optimize business performance, and drive growth.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the expansion of our client's customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners to facilitate successful business ventures.
- Manage existing customer accounts with a strategic approach, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
- Develop and implement account plans to maximize customer value and achieve long-term business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance profitability with competitive market dynamics.
- Continuously assess and refine pricing guidelines to meet the changing needs of the market and customers.
- Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, or a related field, along with a commercial or management degree.
- Valid Code EB drivers license.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a marketing and sales function, including managing complex and/or significant customer relationships and key/national accounts, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain management industry.
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
