Mission
Technical support results in increased knowledge and skillset transfers on equipment application to the customer, whilst at the same time reducing their CPM costs and that of Epiroc. Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and increase market share and profitability
- Professional and highly motivated to maintain and increase market share and profitability for Rock Drilling Tools.
- Endeavour to enlist new customers.
- Supporting the companies policies and procedures
- Assist with collection of outstanding monies due from sales.
- Ensure correct forecast per warehouse is established.
- Ordering of correct products for weekly stock replenishing.
- Follow up on new orders, deliveries, and back orders.
- Regular update of receipts and stock issues. (Documentation).
- Reconciling of stock in warehouse monthly verification.
- Managing and reconciling of stock in warehouse.
- Reconciling of figures for invoicing.
- Monthly update of PDC Statistics.
- Present realistic target for monthly/annual sales for approval.
- Intimate knowledge of Market share in area.
- Monthly reporting to product managers of developments in area.
- Ensuring continuous customer support regarding product performance.
- Continuous follow-up and after sales service
- Correct pricing structures to be applied (outright / contract)
- Quotations to customers to be approved by management.
- Product presentations to new and existing customers to promote product.
- Liaison with customer on new products and designs.
- All new products or design change requests to be forwarded to Product Manager.
- Liaise with customers regarding product related queries. (claims / non-performance)
- Extensive product knowledge on all rock drilling tools product lines.
- Knowledge of surface mining applications
- Ability to achieve set targets/goals.
- Knowledge of correct applications of products.
- Require medical fitness certificates.
- Ability to write detailed and comprehensive reports (monthly)
- Able to work without supervision and be a team player.
- Good communication skills and customer focused, and be presentable on all levels.
- Computer Literacy
- Valid drivers license.
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in the mining industry
- Tertiary qualification in business management and/or sales and marketing
