Experience in the Veterinary Wholesale Industry or Veterinary Supply Chain will be secure.
Candidates must be fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) - non negotiable.

Requirements
- The Candidate requires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or any other related field.
- 6 years experience in building and maintaining client relationships and pro-actively identifying new business opportunities is required.
- Experience in the Veterinary Wholesale Industry or Veterinary Supply Chain will be highly beneficial.
- The ability to perform other duties as delegated by the Employer and Branch Manager.
- A high level of computer literacy is a must. Ability to troubleshoot computer, network and printer issues. Knowledge of Sage Evo would be beneficial but not essential. Proficiency in all Microsoft applications required.

- Must be able to perform functions and remain calm while working in a high-pressure environment.
- Must be able to travel to customers spread throughout the Eastern and Southern Cape on a regular basis.

- Must be customer-service orientated, demonstrate an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease, be self-motivated and proactive, have a voracious thirst for knowledge, have critical attention to detail, be able to prioritize and meet deadlines while working on multiple customers and duties/tasks at the warehouse, and have creative problem-solving skills.

- Must be proficient in Afrikaans and English (writing and speaking).
- Expand and develop current relationships between customers and the company.
- Handle any concerns and issues of the customers who buy from the company.
- Work to rectify issues experienced by customers as well as aiming to improve the organization's overall customer satisfaction ratings.
- Identify prospective customers, contact new/potential customers to discuss needs, negotiate prices and terms and prepare service agreements.
- Keep customers updated on the latest products and special offers to increase sales.
- Study and research current best practices towards; marketing, retention of existing customers and signing-up of new customers and the distribution of veterinary products and pet food and provide feedback and suggestions to management.
- Maintain the company's online ordering system, as well as website, on a regular basis.
- Teamwork is core to this function. The candidate will need to be working together with various team members within the company.
- Day to day CRM functions will only constitute to around 50% of the time. The candidate will need to spend the remainder of the time assisting the management team with other day-to-day operational requirements such as warehousing, logistical management, HR, administrative duties, maintenance of the online ordering system and website, etc.
