PRIMARY PURPOSE
We are seeking a proactive, highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to join our Guest Experience team as a Guest Experience Coordinator.
This position is based in Johannesburg
Detailed Responsibilities
- Review and capture all guest feedback from Guest Experience Liaisons chats and save on the correct platform in a timely manner.
- Research and analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to provide insights to the Head of Guest Experience.
- Identify booking patterns with agents, reservations and destination specific challenges and or guest feedback to align with the GEL strategy.
- Complete and present monthly feedback reports as required by the company on the guest data which has been collated and captured.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant data and insights to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
- Support the Guest Experience team with administrative tasks during peak season.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall guest experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualification
- Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism/Hospitality or similar.
- At least 5 years experience in the travel & tourism industry with exposure to product knowledge in Southern & East Africa and DMC operations.
- Experience with information gathering, analysis, and reporting an advantage.
- Experience in customer service and guests interaction is advantageous.
Skills:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
