Minimum Requirements For The Role
- Must have completed a National Senior Certificate and ideally a degree/diploma in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Sales Coordinator role with experience in processing sales orders and liaising with customers
- Must be Computer Literate, specifically in Excel
- Working knowledge of an ERP system will be a strong advantage
- Customer-oriented attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and under pressure.
- Opening and maintaining customer accounts.
- Processing, coordinate and confirm of sales orders.
- Providing pricing and delivery information.
- Following up on deliveries daily.
- Identifying and assessing customers needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Building sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
- Handling complaints and liaising within the Quality Management process.
- Informing customers product availability.
- Assisting walk-in customers with orders.
- Processing of cash, card, and EFT payments
- Directing queries to the relevant product specialist/department.
- Coordinating sales transactions from placing order to delivery.
- Following-up on stock availability and outstanding orders.
