Check edge preparation and fit - ups to verify that areas to be welded are free of contaminants. • Visual inspection of weld joints, Plant piping and preparing Punch List after installation. • Reviewing Line history sheet and ensure that all required NDE examination shall be performed prior to final system hydro testing unless otherwise specified by engineering. • Ensuring vents are open when filling and draining lines. • Conduct/ Witness of Hydro Test, Pneumatic Test and Flushing; system lay - up both in and erection field. • Making a re - instatement punch list and clearing the items. • Witnessing of Flange joint assemblies and Bolt Torque. • Ensure the Blinds are removed and correct rating gaskets are installed. • Check flow direction arrows on valves; verify that the properly identified valves are installed in accordance with the flow diagram. • Clear the punches during and after Hydro static, pneumatic & leak test of piping system. • Verification of closed punch items and conduct walk through for each completed piping system prior to mechanical acceptance. • Inspect various types of pipe supports according to design and drawing. • Control of non - conformities issuance and propose corrective action, and investigate the effectiveness of corrective actions. • Coordinate with clients/consultants, Vendor, PMT & PID while the inspection is being carried out and offer any clarification is required. • Preparing and maintaining various QA/QC documents and final test packages. • Preparation of daily and weekly welding/piping reports and all other necessary documents and attachments based on ITP and as per client requirement.
