Im a degree nurse working in cameroon. Part time at centre medical bonanjo(CMB) and permanently self employed as a home nurse. At CMB my responsibilities are providing prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent and handicapped persons. Take records patient vital signs. Dress wounds, give enemas, douches, alcohol rubs and massages. Observe patients report adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge. Administer specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection and notes time amount on patients chart. Assemble uses such equipment as catheter, nasagastric tubes, urinary catheter. Clean rooms, make beds and answer patients call.
