• Involved in mine planning • Coordinating the development of excavation operations • Inspecting the drilled holes as per depth and blockages. • Monitoring drilling operations, clearing of the ground or orebody, and the marking of drill holes. • In charge of blasting and examining all safety precautions in blasting practices. • Safeguarding of persons against the significant hazards associated with the use of explosives. • Scheduling the work plans of the day. • Monitoring the day to day maintenance routine of machinery.
What you did at this job position?:
• . Matching the mine capacity with the targeted output of coal production and overburden removal. • Preparing weekly, monthly, quarter year reports and also daily production update and monthly plans. • Drilling and blasting plans to ensure good fragmentation and ore handling. • Ensuring that operations are carried out in a cost effective manner and that laid down company procedures are adhered to. • Monitoring of work standards as per mine standards and statutory requirements. • Ensuring efficiency of machinery and employees in load and haul operations. • Planning of haul roads, approach roads and ramps • Allocation and monitoring of workforce and resources at the mine. • Preparation and carrying out of monthly measurements on development and production work. • Monitoring grade and quality control of coal.
