Artisan Millwright .
I am a qualified artisan millwright with 23 years experience as an artisan millwright.
I am a self motivated person, ambitious, hardworker, very keen to work hard including working shifts on production. Experience in problem solving during the malfunction of production machines,with own initiatives during the lack of spares in order to continue with production without loosing the efficiency or performance of the machine until we get the correct spare.
During production I am always at the production work place,monitoring the performance of the machines by noting down the machine deficiency in order to be planned in maintenance day.
I also assist the operators to run the machines when they struggle or staff shortage,and assist them in skill development,such as autonomous maintenance, 5s,and cleanliness of the machines.
Also developing operators to take safety as priority at the work place as we know that accidents don't just happen, they are caused.

As an artisan I am responsible for machine maintenance, lubrication, changing bearings,conveyors Sprockets, drive chains,adjusting conveyors tension, fault findings on electrical circuits, replacing photo cells on conveyors, repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems and many general maintenance of production machines.
