I am a 48 year old retrenched HR Manager. I have been retrenched since 2019 and am unable to find alternative employment as an HR Manager. I received my Code 14 driver's license in November of 2021 but am still waiting to receive the actual card. I am in the process of getting my PrDP but they need the license card to process me and there is a backlog concerning the issuing of these cards. The website also recently crashed and no one can now make appointments or enquire on the status of their licenses. I used to be a code 14 driver in the SADF in 1993, but unfortunately have no other experience.
I will not lie here; I am desperate to find employment - HR or Driver, it does not matter. If I work in this country, I would like to stay close to home which is in Meyerton, but I am willing to relocate if necessary. If I can get a job abroad, I am willing to go anywhere.
