I can communicate effectively and have adequate knowledge and understanding in the field of Rock Engineering which I have acquired from the years I have been in the Mining industry. - I can Monitor and assess the installation quality and quantity of various support unit to ensure that they met the required mine standard.
- I can assess the ground conditions using various rock classifications such as Q-rating system.
- I always ensure that I coach the mining crew on the importance of adhering to support and why we need to support the workings in order to ensure that we work under safe conditions.
- I am very analytical and I can manage to compile data that is essential for drafting code of practices that can combat rockburst and fall of ground.
