INTRODUCTION LETTER
Just a bit more information & detail about me and my abilities.
I am a married man, with 1 son aged 12, we currently live in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, but I am in the market for a position in Brits, as my wife has been transferred to Montana for her work.
I would like to offer you some more detailed insight as to what my duties were for the companies you will find mentioned as employers in my CV.

Under employment of Samancor
• Employed as a fitter & turner responsible for maintaining multistage emulsion pumps, compressors, conveyor belts, fitting of 1.1Kw extraction fan couplings, split bearings, Maintenance on Sub arc furnaces, flexible water pipers, insulation tests & replacements of such units if need be. I was also charged with the maintenance of raw material vibrator feeders, regulating cylinders, clamping cylinders, stoking cars both hydraulic & electrical.
• Still in service with Samancor I have excelled in my profession and within a year I have been promoted to Process Practitioner, where my duties now include maintenance on furnaces, tapping supervisor, batch mix coordinator, building projects, bag house operation maintenance, casings & refractories.
• The abovementioned duties, has me doing designs, installations & furnace rebuilds, I am also charged with supervising refractory work on the plant including the specifications & installations, the design and building of metal break floors, I have also taught myself to understand the underlined working of metallurgy and is now part of our senior standby team, where I am required to manually & electronically change and adjust our smelter recipes on the system for a total of 6 furnaces.

Under employment of Anglo Platinum – Amandelbult Section
• Employed as a fitter and turner my duties was to manufacture & do maintenance on conveyor belts, extensions, installing modular hanging belts all this form drawings.
Under employment of Kumba Iron Ore
• I received my trades license under employement of this company, after qualifying I was appointed as a permanent employee of the company and my duties was then concentrated only to the refurbishing of Cat buckets, Machine of pins & bushes for said buckets, line boring, fitment of buckets, manufacturing of conveyor belt pulley from raw drawings. I was also charged with the manufacturing & rebuilding of TLB & GD60 Drill unit parts
