Stock Controller

• Ensure stock counted accurately (physical counts match with system stock on hand), managing, reporting and resolving store stock integrity. Investigate, resolve stock take variances, and investigate cycle or perpetual stock count variances. • Monitor shrinkage and identify areas need attention, and implement the corrective measures. • Ensure all stock control procedures are in place and manage store write offs and adjustments. • Ensure the responsibility for open and deleted counts are authorised, finalise or post completed counts. • Co-ordinate and implement daily counts, weekly counts, perpetual counts and provide solutions to resolve and prevent future variances. • Weekly update to manager regarding all counts done for the week and feedback & Input on issues and suggestion on areas of improvement and compile monthly inventory reports and sent to managers. • Create purchase order, return orders and prepare stock requisition form for weekly replenishment. • Ensure that correct goods are issued/ returned and barcoding of the new products is done accordingly. • Identify obsolescent/ age stock and prepare for supplier pick up. • Ensure that the delivery schedule is handed to the driver and that the delivery address and telephone number are correct and the customer is notified when the Collect Later and/or Online collection is ready to be collected.
