Mohammed Cajee

I am currently a South African medical doctor working and registered in independent practice as a general practitioner. I have previously worked as a medical officer in Family Medicine at the Johannesburg Soweto Metro Clinics, in 2019.
During my community service year (2019) I gained experience in acute and chronic care as well as emergency medicine and became proficient in a number of surgical and primary healthcare skills. I have also assisted and worked in private in a number of elective and emergency surgeries and have accumulated time in the operating theatre in numerous General Surgery cases as well as in Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery (references in CV) and am capable of diagnosing and safely treating a number of medical and surgical conditions.
Prior to that, I worked my postgraduate internship years at Charlotte Maxeke Academic Hospital (JHB Gen) and gained invaluable academic knowledge and training especially in the Internal Medicine sub-specialties.
I am a motivated and hardworking individual, who has always strived for excellence. I work meticulously to provide my patients with the best medical care as well as to empower them to lead a healthy lifestyle. I pride myself in being involved in voluntary work, both inside and outside of work and would ultimately like to utilise my current strengths and expertise in a stimulating workplace whilst also gaining relevant experience. My interests outside of work include exercise, reading and traveling.
