I am a dedicated Health and Safety Officer registered with the South African Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (SAIOSH) as a Technical Member. Over the past twelve years, I have amassed valuable experience in the public sector, managing various responsibilities related to safety, health, environment, and quality (SHERQ). My expertise spans coordinating the implementation of SHERQ projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting thorough risk assessments, and investigating incidents to recommend effective solutions.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strong leadership in ensuring adherence to departmental guidelines and protocols, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns. I possess a solid understanding of safety policies, and OHS issues, and have successfully implemented Employee Health and Wellness programs.
