Please accept my enclosed resume, which I am sending in response to your ad for a Mechanical Fitter for your production department. As you will see, I bring several years of experience from which I was able to develop my eye-hand coordination and problem-solving skills that are important to this position.
Since 2015, I have worked exclusively on machines that convert Mechanical Energy to Electrical Energy for heavy Engineering equipment. I am well-trained in the installation, repair, and maintenance of machines.
Over the past few years, I have worked largely in both Maintenance and Overhauling of the Turbine during Outages and have learned to read various types of engineering diagrams. I have thoroughly developed skills in working with various pumps, measurements of bearing, components, alignment of rotating shafts, and carrying out planed work on auxiliary plant. In addition I also performed daily inspections on all the equipment and reporting on all faults, striping of components and identifying any problems, as well as maintaining an excellent housekeeping in the designated areas, adhering to the company’s SHE regulations and requirements at all times.
I possess the ability to work both in teams and independently as needed and can easily adhere to project and maintenance schedules.
