My husband Leon Wollnik and I met with Phineas on 14 June 2022 whereby Phineas approached us seeking any form of employment whether part-time or permanent to further his monetary and career prospects as a family man who has a wife and four children to support in our strained economy.
We found Phineas to be polite, well-spoken, and self-motivated in his approach and have offered him part-time employment on Tuesdays only to work on our property as a all–rounder to do property maintenance concerning attending to the garden and painting etcetera. He will commence with us on a part-time basis only from 21 June 2022.
Phineas currently is also a car guard at Pick ‘n Pay Boskruin where we first met him. He assisted in carrying our parcels to our car and packing them into our boot.

Below is the reference I, Deborah Wollnik ran on Phineas this morning having spoken to Faith, his manager at Bedking, Fourways on their landline 011 467-5596/8 who confirmed the following:
Phineas was employed in the capacity of a general assistant from 2013 to 2022. (nine years in total)
His salary was R4000.00per month. Phineas’s reason for leaving was for better salary prospects and career growth.
Faith was sorry to let Phineas go as he was a valuable asset in that he was:
Punctual and was not one to take sick leave
Honest, reliable, and trustworthy, his yes is his yes and his no is his no.

Faith had no reservations in recommending Phineas in any future position as he is open to learning and growing and will do whatever it takes to be an asset to any future employer who is willing to allow Phineas to further himself career-wise.

My husband and I have found Phineas to be diligent and hard worker who pays attention to detail. He has a pleasant disposition and takes pride in the work that he has been tasked with.
