I am interested in Care giver jobs.I have genuine interest in helping people with compassion and enthusiasm. I have undertaken training in Home based Care and First Aid at the South African Red Cross Society, as well as other Care skills training online. I did my practicals at Medifrail Cura in Pretoria in November 2023 where I helped take care of people with Alzheimers/ Dementia. The following were my duties:
• Assisting with personal care such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting and exercising of patients.
• Providing companionship and helping patients with mobility
• Assisting in provision of medication under supervision of the nurse
• Taking and recording patient’s vital signs by recording blood pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration.
• Recording and reporting any changes to the nurse
• Giving of medication under the instruction/ supervision of the Nurse.
