I have work experience in both Corporate and the NGO Sector, from Bookkeeping including Credit Control, Foreign Creditors to Project and Operations Management across a multitude of projects.
Highlights include the design and Grant management of the Financial Education Fund and the Monitoring and Evaluating of financial literacy projects implemented across Sub-Saharan Africa.
More recently, I’ve been privileged to work on groundbreaking Early Childhood Development projects in disadvantaged communities.
I am best described as an Activator, focused on community empowerment through access to knowledge and skills development. I pride myself on applying a high level of common sense in my work and am passionate about delivering on objectives, continuously assessing to understand what works, what doesn’t work, and identifying the changes required for sustainable outcomes.
I am personable and can be described as direct but empathetic with an off-beat sense of humour.
