I consider myself to be a charismatic individual who works hard to achieve the best results. I work well with others and am not easily intimidated.
When I do not understand something, I figure it out. Giving up is not in my vocabulary. I love challenges because it gives me the opportunity to showcase my skills and abilities.
I take initiative and very seldom need to be told what needs to be done. I do what I feel needs to be done to the betterment of everyone around me. My job is to make things easier for all those around me and I enjoy doing just that.
Even though I have been an educator for most of my working career, what people who have never worked in that type of environment need to understand, is that being an educator in our country requires you to have a university degree, to work in a fast paste environment every single day, to liaise with parents and co-workers, have administrative skills, numeracy skills, adhoc skills as well as computer skills (Microsoft office etc) in order to do your job successfully. This means we should have brains to do most things that any other job requires. I believe that this should never be overlooked when a teacher applies to a job in a different profession.
I think I more than qualify to do everything and more in any job I am hired to do.
