An established engineering consultancy firm is looking for an OT Cybersecurity Architect for a Fixed Term contract for 12 months working remotely. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of international clients operational technology systems, including SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial control systems.
This role reports to the Director with the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to safeguard OT systems against internal and external threats.
- Help to create the OT Methodology, roadmap, and 3-year Cybersecurity plan.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
- Participate in governance activities, including developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards for OT systems.
- Assess and audit OT systems for potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with IT cybersecurity teams to ensure consistent security practices across the organization.
- Participate in incident response planning and execution for OT cybersecurity incidents.
- Train other OT staff on cybersecurity best practices and provide technical guidance.
- Stay informed of the latest OT cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree / Equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7years' experience in OT cybersecurity architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience with risk management and assessment methodologies (e.g., FAIR, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Expert knowledge of industrial systems and protocols (SCADA, PLC, RTU, etc.)
- Strong understanding of OT cybersecurity standards and regulations (NIST SP800-82, IEC62443, ISA/IEC 62443 etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement OT cybersecurity strategies and policies.
- Excellent self-management skills with the ability to work independently.
