In this role You will focus on supporting the Cyber Risk Consulting (CRC) practice in the Marsh Advisory (MA) division of Marsh Africa. The role will entail helping clients identify, measure and manage cyber risks and delivering on successful projects.

- Provide trusted advisory services and guidance to clients that will reduce cyber risk and improve their overall security posture
- Deliver on client projects which include:
- Cyber governance and strategy
- Develop information technology and security policies and procedures
- Cyber risk assessments (IT and/or OT)
- Cyber maturity assessments/ Audits (IT and/or OT)
- ISMS gap assessments
- Cyber awareness programs
- Cyber risk quantification
- Third party risk assessments
- Cyber security architecture
- Prepare reports and other deliverables that contain strategy, technical analysis, and findings in connection with advisory and assessment engagements and communicating those results to client management
- Assist clients define technical and functional designs and architectural blueprints required for cyber security programs
- Support the Cyber Resilience Leader in engaging with clients, identifying solutions and preparing of proposals
- Contribute towards business development activities to grow the cyber practice (proposal creation, client presentations, client engagements etc.)
- Collaborate across the Marsh Advisory and Marsh broker community and provide expert input and contributions where necessary
- At least 5+ years of experience in cyber governance, risk, controls, and compliance management in a technology environment
- Experience in delivering cyber security projects with a deep understanding of Cyber Security risks and mitigating solutions
- At least a B. Degree, preferably in Computer Science related degrees, Commerce or Engineering related degrees.
- Fluency in English
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, (i.e. Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) operating systems (Windows, UNIX and Linux)
- Knowledge of security domains, concepts and methods such as vulnerability assessments, data protection, cloud security, application security, infrastructure security, OT security, privacy assessments, incident response, security policy creation, enterprise security strategies, IT architectures and governance.
- Knowledge and understanding of security standards and frameworks (e.g. ISO, NIST etc), regulatory requirements and compliance issues affecting clients related to privacy and data protection.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex client business processes
- Strong communication and presentations skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Professional security certifications (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CBCP)
