PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for capturing data into a computer using a keyboard, under limited supervision. Keeps track of received data and source documents. Prepares and sort source documents and identifies and interprets data to be entered. Contacts authors of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies or missing data. Makes necessary corrections to information entered. Compiles, sorts and verifies accuracy of data to be entered. Keeps record of work completed. Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer. Files or routes source documents after entry. Timeously and accurately capture data and process all relevant documentation related to maintenance planning and execution on mine assets.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The Role Is Responsible For
- Assists with coding and identification of assets, as well as capturing of data within the Pragma On Key asset management system;
- Control documents, capture data and perform filing storing and archiving of documents;
- Compare and correlate captured data with source documentation;
- Generate reports, statistics and graphs;
- Update machine and equipment hours;
- Update maintenance data, backlogs and emergency breakdowns;
- Assist with maintenance requisitions, stock requisitions, purchase orders, job cards and planned maintenance interventions;
- Work in close relation with Maintenance planner, artisans and artisan aids; and
- Update all relevant notice board with the maintenance key performance indicators.
- Processing of purchase requisitions and invoices.
- Matric (Grade 12) NQF level 4
- Computer literate (Microsoft office suite certificate)
- Diploma/NQF level 6 in Office Administration
- Artisan Trade Test Certificate will be advantageous.
Up to 3 years of experience in the maintenance planning field
