ENVIRONMENT:

Our client is seeking a seasoned Systems Infrastructure Manager to join their team. This pivotal role involves leading the overall management of systems infrastructure, systems security, and technical support operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, structures, policies, procedures, and controls across both physical and virtual environments. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in managing systems infrastructure teams, possess advanced technical skills in Information Communication Technology (ICT) systems, and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of technology environments with the ability to provide expert advice on ICT technologies.

DUTIES:
  • Design and Implement Systems Infrastructure Department strategies, plans, policies and procedure
  • Lead the formulation and implementation of hosting strategies that support implementation of the companys strategic objective.
  • Support the effective operation of the Systems Infrastructure team ensuring good governance and performance monitoring.
  • Lead the formulation of Systems Infrastructure products and services that differentiate the Group in the market, aligned with the company Strategy
  • Actively collaborate in identifying and building a sustainable business pipeline of opportunities to deliver ICT products and services
  • Function as an active member of the Senior Management Team
REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 10 years experience in the management of systems infrastructure teams
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification (Degree/Diploma) is a minimum requirement
  • At least 5 years senior management experience in the field of technology and information management
  • Appropriate post graduate qualification (such as a Masters Degree) will be an added advantage
  • Senior management qualification will be an advantage
  • High level technical skills in Information Communication Technology (ICT) Systems
  • High level technical knowledge of tech environments and ability to advise on ICT technologies
  • Ability to lead change in a complex and evolving environment
  • Ability to lead, develop and establish effective organisational and ICT strategies within a complex, changing environment
  • Ability to coordinate and develop subordinates across multiple levels
  • Systems and systems architecture design
