- There are two positions available - one is 8 hours per day, 225 days per year and the other is 8 hours per day, 178 days per year. Please answer the questions in the required information section to indicate your preference.
Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor the Food Processing Specialist prepares, processes, packages and stores production food items. May be assigned to work in any of several production areas.
Educational Requirements
- Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- HACCP training required after hiring. Knowledge & Ability:
- Knowledge of food preparation and sanitation requirements.
- Knowledge of HACCP requirements must be obtained after hiring.
- Must be flexible and capable of quickly adapting to wide variety of work assignments. Job-Related Experience:
- Two years experience related to the above responsibilities is preferred. Licenses/Certification:
- Food handler's permit required.
