Job responsibilities:
- The person appointed will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and transparent management of finances in line with recognized accounting/auditing standards and company policies/procedures
- Daily Invoicing of Debtors
- Daily processing of creditors invoices
- Process of financial/business forms/documentation.
- Checks, corrects and maintain a variety of financial and other business records and documents.
- Answers inquiries and provide information to internal and external customers on financial policies and procedures.
- Process requisitions for supplies and services.
- Contributes to departmental/business goals by accomplishing related duties as required.
Job requirements:
- Grade 12
- Diploma/Degree – Accounting / Financial Management
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of Navision will be an added advantage
- Pastel experience will get preference
- Integrity – ethical, honest and trustworthy, ability to make an effort to listen and understand both internal and external customers, anticipating their needs
- Attention to detail – accurately checking processes and task, showing concern to all aspects of the job
- Ability to organize – to prioritize task within given time frames
- Judgement – use creative problem solving methods to analyze problems. Generate alternatives and determine course of action that moves the organization towards its goals
- Stress tolerance – stay calm under pressure, put in the effort to complete tasks in a professional and efficient manner
- Packages - market related and depending on experience
