The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
- Maintain PO and inventory information and reports to ensure timely delivery of merchandise while meeting initial fill rate and turn goals.
- Develop monthly sales and inventory forecasts through vendor management tools and demand forecasting
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
- Develop and measure inventory levels and service performance through KPIs.
- Maintain all reports, which manage inventory levels and maintenance of backorders, in conjunction with communication to management about actions being taken to resolve any issues.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 3 years experience using forecasting/demand planning modules in an ERP system
- Excellent MS Office and demonstrated Excel skills
- Solid understanding of Inventory Management Practices and Procedures
- The capability to work with large datasets and develop diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics models is a critical prerequisite
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
