The Demand Planning Analyst will guide clients in their implementation of the Avercast forecasting and planning software. The Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, assisting clients with best practices in forecasting and planning and with the use of the Avercast tool. This role works on an implementation team with a project manager and technical implementation resources to ensure the successful implementation of Avercast. The consultant will also work with the Client Success and Support teams post-implementation to ensure a smooth transition from implementation to support. This role is critical to ensuring that implementations improve our clients forecasting and planning processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the Avercast product and its capabilities
- Understand best practices in the forecasting and planning functions
- Listen to client's needs and understand how the Avercast tool can meet their objectives
- Participate in data/process discovery sessions, alongside the technical lead, to identify requirements and configurations
- Coordinate with development resources to configure Avercast to meet the customer requirements
- Participate in data validation and guide clients through validating their data
- Conduct training sessions with users on the Avercast tool
- Identify and raise issues, report status on project tasks
- Manage assigned tasks, to quality, scope, and deadline requirements
- Work with the client to revise business processes to integrate the Avercast solution, providing best practices and recommendations
- Job responsibilities and any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and support our organizations values
- BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of experience in production planning or a similar role that has strong data analytics, demand planning, and forecasting background
- Minimum 3 years experience with demand planning/forecasting software solutions
- Ability to identify and address areas for process improvement around technical solution implementations
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
- Experience documenting and conducting training on software and process is a plus
- Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff and clients
- Keen problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Knowledge of the Avercast software is a plus
- Passion for data and an understanding of its value to our client's businesses
- Must be able to work in a dynamic and flexible environment, in our offices, on-site with clients, and remotely.
- Certifications are plus: CPIM, CSCP, CPF, ACPF, CPSM, or CPSD.
TransImpact is a United States-based company. We support clients all over the world. Travel to client locations to conduct training may be required. The ability to flex time and work around client hours may be required at times during implementations . This position is located at our Independence, Ohio location. The ability to work in our office, with a hybrid schedule is required.
