Deputy General Manager

As the key support for the General Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire the Hotel Team. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our brand promise is delivered consistently. This can be achieved through an effective, efficient, and profitable operational strategy while maintaining a sustainable business. We aim to create value for our guests and team members by fostering a people-focused culture and implementing transformative business practices.
 
Along with a Hospitality Degree or Diploma, you have at least 5 years experience as a Deputy General Manager or similar in a Rooms Division role at a luxury brand hotel. Along with your experience in resort operations, you have a background in Opera, hotel management systems, Microsoft 365 and knowledge of South African Legislation.
 
You excel at people management and have outstanding financial management and communication skills with the ability to achieve results. You need a solid understanding of hospitality systems and technology to succeed in this role.
 
As a great team leader with a hands-on approach, you are passionate about delivering the best guest experience. A compassionate person who can connect with people on different levels, you should be focused on developing your team. You are innovative in driving business performance, and resilient in times of increasing complexity.
