Design standards engineer

This is a remote position.

MUST BE BASED IN SOUTH AFRICA

Main Duties / Activities:

To generate parametric production & site-orientated drawing information embedded with

meta data for 4D and 5D modelling, for consumption by MJM Marines design office to assist

with the development of our clients concept drawings.

MAIN TASKS:

Proficient in 3D design utilising Revit software, with a strong understanding of

architectural modelling principles and practices.

Skilled in creating custom parameters and workflows using Python scripting within

the Revit environment to enhance functionality and automate repetitive tasks.

Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to translate

project requirements into detailed 3D models and custom solutions.

Experience in troubleshooting and debugging Python scripts to ensure smooth

integration and functionality across platforms.

Knowledge of BIM standards and practices, with the ability to implement best

practices for efficient project delivery.

Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate

with cross-functional teams.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality

work within tight deadlines.

Familiarity with industry trends and advancements in both 3D design and

programming, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional

development.
