About Technology Services
The Technology Services division supports the growth of the Product Houses through the provision and management of infrastructure and operating systems required to run the business operations. This service is provided to all local and international participating companies and includes the management of Cloud Services where required.
Key Purpose
The Hosted Desktop Specialist (Junior) is directly responsible for managing all hosted applications and provide 2nd line support to end user community.
Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Manage and support, NetScaler, Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop, Citrix Storefront & Citrix Web interface.
- Manage Citrix application builds, release cycles, patching, and test schedules.
- Perform incident response and problem management.
- Provide direct and remote L2-L3 application/server support in Citrix environments.
- Document configurations and procedures that will be transitioned to the help desk or support teams.
- Utilizes standard corporate tools to record change, incident, and problem activities for tracking purposes Capable in supporting a 24/7 coverage model with standby responsibilities.
- 5 years IT experience
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience in an enterprise environment.
- 5+ years of Experience with XenApp and XenDesktop.
- Must possess a strong knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019.
- Experience in managing Active Directory Policies
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, VBScript).
- Citrix CCAA
- Interpersonal skills - Ability to build relationships with people from all different backgrounds and at different job levels.

- Grade 12
- Information systems or equivalent IT tertiary qualification
- Product Specific qualification Citrix Certified Administrator
