Structural Detailer

PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Structural Steel Designer/Detailer is responsible for assisting the Civil Team with structural steel design and detailing for projects in the Power Generation Industry.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• Structural Steel design.
• Assist with Tender preparation.
• Preparation of Lesedi standard drawings.

Qualification And Experience

• Minimum National Diploma in a relevant engineering qualification from an accredited university or equivalent with minimum of 1 year in Civil / Structural Engineering draughting and detailing, OR
• Minimum National Certificate level 4 in a relevant draughting qualification from an accredited college or equivalent with Minimum of 4 years Civil / Structural Engineering draughting and detailing;
• AutoCAD experience;
• Strand7 and Prokon software experience will be advantageous;
• Structural steel design and detailing experience;
• General civil services experience will be advantageous;
• ECSA registration will be advantageous;
