Duties:-
- Ensure organizational and individual training needs are identified
- Compliance with legislation such as the BCEA, EEA, LRA, MIBCO Main Agreement as well as internal policies and procedures
- Compile monthly training schedule
- Update training plan and other relevant training reports
- Ensure accurate training records are maintained
- Administer tertiary study loans
- Administer training agreements
- Manage employee development committee process
- Compile and submit Workplace Skills Plan to MERSETA
- Compile and submit annual training report to MERSETA
- Ensure maximum return on grant payments
- Plan and coordinate learnerships and skills programs
- Coordinate on the job training and classroom training to satisfy curricula
- Develop curricula and learning material for all positions
- Coordinate the development of training matrix for all departments
- Coordinate training initiatives to deliver on training needs
- Draft EE Plans / Reports
- Providing ad-hoc Generalist HR support
- Matric and HR-related qualification
- Approximately 2 years' experience in training and development
- Sound knowledge of South African legislation BCEA, EEA, LRA and MIBCO Main Agreement
- Advanced knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
- Good Human Relations skills for excellent internal customer service
- Excellent Administration skills, including general HR administration
- Initiative, good problem solving skills, excellent time management skills and above average communication skills
