The scope of work includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Collaborate with system engineers to create system-level requirements, designs, implementations, and accompanying documentation;
- Collaborate with system engineers to devise system-level test cases, procedures, and oversee their execution and reporting;
- Create tools to enhance the system engineering processes;
- Engage with COTS suppliers, explore system design and architecture using COTS products, evaluate and prototype them;
- Possibility of on-site involvement in design, verification, and support, including interactions with clients and integrators;
- Manage a functional system integration facility for comprehensive system-level integration and testing;
- Play a major role in the generation of outputs for projects, including design, testing, documentation, production and verification artefacts;
- Implementation of system engineering processes, plans and policies as applicable to a specific project; and
- Perform minor support roles within the company, as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering (BSc Eng/BEng or equivalent).
- 2-5 years of relevant industry or postgraduate experience;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both inside and outside the organisation; and
- Logical thinker.
- Masters Degree in Mechatronic / Mechanical or Electronic Engineering (MSc Eng. / MEng).
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb new information rapidly;
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects;
- Ability to work independently;
- Strong problem-solving skills; and
- High standard of communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
