Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM] (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market. It aims to understand the unique requirements of clients and offers a wide range of simple and affordable financial solutions that cover needs such as funeral insurance, savings for education, life cover and personal accident plans. In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. The cluster focusses on retail products, as well as group schemes.
What will make you successful in this role?
- Ensure Device Control Management are defined and implemented.
- Device control of Tablet and Pebble Devices
- Disposal of Device
- Administration of Allocation of Device
- Facilitate the procurement of devices for new recruits
- Facilitate the ad-hoc procurement of devices
- Support device queries (Avaya)
- Monitor the movement of each tablet and contracts
- Monitor the status of Devices
- Procuring of the sim card
- Activation and deactivation of the sim cards
- Suspend the line of stolen sim cards
- Blacklist the device with MTN
- Sim Swaps
- Data allocation and monitoring
- Facilitate the insurance claims
- Draft Reports
Qualifications
- Minimum Post-Degree/ National Diploma
- Additional Qualification Information Management (IT) is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 7 years experience
- Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel is essential.
- Experience in the Insurance industry an advantage.
- Advance Report writing
- Intermediate understanding and application of Digital platforms
- Advance understanding of data analytics tools and how to apply
