DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving the reliability, performance, and quality of our CI/CD systems. You will introduce processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure the seamless flow of software development, from coding and deployment to maintenance and updates. Your expertise in infrastructure management, automation, and security will be essential in delivering and maintaining our products effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our DevOps Engineering team to enhance the reliability, performance, and quality of our CI/CD systems.
• Utilize infrastructure as code to manage cloud resources and system dependencies.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and developers, effectively communicating stakeholder needs.
• Coordinate and maintain communication within the team and with external partners.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect systems against threats.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs, deploying necessary updates and fixes.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure adherence to established processes and validate system functionality.
• Develop tools and solutions to minimize errors and enhance the customer experience.
• Design troubleshooting and maintenance procedures for systems.
• Provide technical support to the IT team and validate software code developed in projects.
• Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
• Develop automation solutions to improve system insights and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A relevant combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• A passion for automation techniques.
• Proficient understanding of version control and the Gitflow Workflow.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in DevOps technologies.
• Experience working with cloud providers, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD technologies like CircleCI/Jenkins or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization.
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of security.
• Familiarity with Databricks is advantageous.
• Strong interest and enthusiasm for working on diverse projects.
• Adaptability to learn and conform to established conventions while fostering innovation and contributing to the creation of new practices.
