Position : Diesel / Earthmoving Diesel Mechanic

Salary : R17 750 to R25 200 benefits include medical aid and pension

Diesel / Earthmoving Mechanic (Plant Division)
Blackheath
Main Purpose: To repair and maintain construction equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Trade test certificate (Qualified Diesel Mechanic/Earth Moving equipment)
- At least 3-5 years relevant work experience after completing Trade test
- Valid Driver’s license
- Knowledge of Earthmoving equipment & Road construction equipment
- Adherence to strict quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to take on new challenges and to expand knowledge to keep pace with changing technology
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel to outlying areas for extended periods of time
Added advantages:
- Previous mechanical work experience in the civil construction industry
- Knowledge of Dynapac & Vogele Pavers, Bomag & Dynapac duel drum vibratory rollers, pneumatic rollers, Gallion static rollers, Phoenix chip spreaders & Wirtgen milling machines
- Knowledge of water pumps, compactors and other small plant.
