As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy and initiatives to enhance their online presence, attract new customers, and optimise customer engagement. Your expertise in digital marketing techniques, particularly within the sports betting and gaming industry, will be crucial in achieving their growth objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective digital marketing campaigns, utilising various channels such as social media, email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing.
Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Marketing Manager in Gauteng will include:
- Develop and execute the overall digital marketing strategy, aligning with the companys objectives and target audience
- Plan, create, and manage engaging digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, search engines, and display advertising
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimise performance
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth
- Manage and optimise the companys website, ensuring it is user-friendly, SEO-friendly, and continuously updated with compelling content
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as content creators, graphic designers, and developers, to create captivating and visually appealing digital assets
- Utilise customer segmentation and targeting techniques to personalise digital marketing campaigns, improving customer acquisition and retention
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing, constantly seeking innovative approaches to drive results
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications in digital marketing are a plus
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager or a similar role within the sports betting and gaming industry
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing
- Proficient in utilising digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation software
- Demonstrated ability to create and execute successful digital marketing campaigns, leveraging various channels to achieve business objectives
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Knowledge of the regulatory landscape surrounding the sports betting and gaming industry in South Africa is advantageous
