Reporting to the Head of Performance Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist will manage, optimize, and expand digital campaigns across multiple channels to drive global acquisition growth through commercial digital campaigns.
Your key job responsibilities as the Digital Marketing Specialist in Cape Town will include:
- Overseeing daily campaigns on platforms such as Google Search, Meta, DV360, and Programmatic.
- Measuring and optimizing digital campaign performance to maximize value.
- Managing, applying, and proposing marketing budgets and campaigns.
- Providing insights on competitor activities.
- Handling digital campaign administration and reconciliation.
- Managing Pay Per Click (Google Search, Search 360), Display Marketing, Push/Messenger Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Paid App Store (ASA/CPI), and Emerging Platforms (Influencer Marketing).
- Creating, managing, and enhancing campaign assets, including landing pages, websites, ad copy, banners, videos, and social media content.
- Optimizing campaigns to achieve maximum value.
- Assisting with content creation and translation.
- Identifying and evaluating paid networks, platforms, and mediums.
- Scaling successful strategies and integrating learnings.
- Supporting onboarding processes and integrations.
- Managing supplier communications.
Requirements for this Digital Marketing Specialist job in Cape Town:
- Degree in Marketing, business-related field, or relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Performance Marketing.
- Experience in iGaming or other high-competition industries.
- Strong experience with various digital marketing channels (PPC, Email, Social Media, Programmatic Advertising, etc.).
- Ability to strategize, implement, and optimize campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate actionable insights.
- Experience in Mobile and App marketing.
- Understanding of marketing technology, including ad servers, DMPs, DSPs, and bid management tools.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, and other analytics tools.
