As a true ambassador of Cartier, the Boutique Manager in Johannesburg is an entrepreneur that takes the role to the next level and forges new paths. He / she leads and develops an outstanding team with a clear vision and constantly delivers a customer experience that is in line with Cartiers standards of excellence. Together with the market managing team, he/she defines yearly strategic objectives and action plans to reach and exceed ambitious targets for Cartier South Africa. The Boutique Manager represents Cartier as a Brand Ambassador as per the Maisons directives.
- Manage the day-to-day store operations to transform corporate objectives into operational ones at boutique level
- Ensure continuity and development of partnerships within the South African Market to drive business development in collaboration with Communication Manager
- Focus on impeccable VIP client experience, coaching Sale Associates to build stronger relationships through networking and client treatment initiatives
- Review the monthly Boutique Dashboard with the team, submit quarterly related action plan, deliver accountable for results and navigate the Boutique accordingly
- Constantly demonstrate Maison ambassadorial skills with partners or local dignitaries, at meetings, events (local & international), charity dinners and other work-related functions
- Monitor all Care Service cases handled by the sales team to ensure excellence, push Cartier Care in the South African market.
- Hire, lead, and manage projects and operations in line with strategic vision and teams strengths / development needs
- Coach team individually and collectively - through on-the-job training, target setting and appraisals
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conductive to maximize employee morale and productivity
Seeing this opportunity as a long term career with us, you will be fluent in English with excellent communication skills to collaborate with both colleagues and clients - local language dialects will be a plus. You have a minimum of 5 years prior experience within management of client-centric teams, preferably within retail or similar fields such as hospitality. You have an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to adapt and respond to change and assess risks and a passion for luxury & luxury codes to ensure the best representation of the Maison.
