Logistics Director

A leading logistics company situated in Johannesburg is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Logistics Director to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Ensure strategic alignment with support to the companys business objectives.
• Contribute to the development of the Logistics Strategy to deliver on priorities and growth agendas.
• Drive the delivery of the companys financial performance.
• Build strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with company leaders and senior managers.
• Deliver strategic alignment of risk and governance frameworks to the companys and stakeholders requirements.
• Create a customer-centric, business partnering Logistics function able to provide decision support

Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in Logistics or a similar field.
• An MBA or an additional qualification would be advantageous.
• 5 to 10 years post-qualification experience in logistics management.
• Proven track record of managing logistics teams that deliver results and exceed expectations.
