The Head of Product Marketing is directly responsible for product positioning that differentiates Betterworks as an innovator and essential component of the HR technology stack for modern enterprises while developing storytelling that results in compelling content experiences across the buyers journey. This role also includes responsibility for analyst relations.

This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
You can Expect To
- Lead go-to-market development activities related to telling our product story with differentiated messaging for prospects, customers, and analysts.
- Build preference for the Betterworks product and underlying technologies with value-based messaging that leads the market in serving CHROs and people leaders.
- Own and evangelize the buyers journey and underlying content strategy to meet pipeline goals, accelerate deals, and improve win rates.
- Partner closely with all go-to-market functions to deliver a connected go-to-market strategy that maximizes market impact and marketing investment.
- Spearhead product launch communications.
- Own persona definition and work closely with product management to align roadmap features to ensure market fit and attainment of revenue goals.
- Analyze the competitive landscape and translate learnings into actionable response strategies for all external-facing roles.
- Develop value proposition and content for upselling and cross-selling in coordination with growth marketing initiatives.
- Maintain a whole product mindset that leverages differentiation beyond the product such as the use of services expertise as a means for accelerated value realization
- Develop a toolkit with templates that provide consistency and scale in content creation efforts, including, but not limited to, personas, product marketecture, message maps, playbooks, and product launch communication plans.
- Work closely with executive leadership as well as cross-functional leaders in product, sales, services, and the whole of marketing.
- Manage a small yet talented and highly motivated team with plans for growth over time.
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing business applications for B2B enterprise buyers with an emphasis on cloud-based solutions.
- 5+ years in a management role with a strong reputation for building diverse teams and inspiring them to do great work.
- Previous history working in dynamic and fast-growing companies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop compelling and consumable messaging to a diverse set of audiences, including prospects, customers, and analysts.
- Exceptional writing skills that meet the professional standards of executive audiences and compel action.
- Ability to build strategies and roll up your sleeves to create the content that is used in campaigns and field enablement.
- Proven track record of building trusting relationships with product, sales, services, and marketing coworkers that lead to strategic alignment, business agility, and a positive working environment.
- Capable of producing and delivering executive quality presentations and assets for use by the Revenue Enablement team in training programs for all field-facing members of our team.
- Knowledge and experience with marketing automation tools is a plus and aimed at helping automate product marketing campaigns and save time.
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and meticulous attention to detail.
- An ability to never stop asking why, while taking pride in meeting obligations.
- Expertise in marketing to CHROs and line of business leaders.
