Key Purpose of the role To manage the Support Team resources in terms of First line Support, Monitor performance and Capacity management. Produce reporting and remedy solutions around trends and known bugs. Develop coding that can perform bulk fixes. Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
- Management and supervision of the Pricing Micro team.
- Assessment and analysis for Group Risk and Retirement scheme profiles.
- Process New Business quotes processed accurately within the SLA and sent to the BCs
- Process Existing Business quotes processed accurately within the SLA and sent to the SCs.
- Workflow allocations of workflow contents.
- Participate in all special projects as allocated by the Pricing Manager.
- Processing of Bi-annual incentive figures
- Presiding over Team members performance appraisals.
- Illustration of the value proposition of Discoverys benefit enhancements.
- Analyzing of raw data
- Highly analytical

- Mathematical Commercial degree / Risk Management would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in data analysis recommended.
- Computer literate: Advanced Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Bi and Outlook
- Keen knowledge of the insurance industry. Trends, new developments and other underwriters objectives (Advantageous)
- A sound mathematical knowledge is essential.
- Statistical knowledge advantageous.
- A qualification in the insurance industry advantageous.
- Must have passed a major Mathematics or Statistics course at first year level at Tertiary
- 5 years experience in Group Risk Pricing and data analysis.
