We seek a seasoned General Manager with a proven track record in strategic leadership and business management. Experienced in aligning divisional goals with corporate objectives, ensuring financial growth, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. Proficient in overseeing day-to-day operations, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving innovation for operational efficiency.
Adept at managing human resources, promoting a positive work culture, and implementing customer satisfaction programs. As GM, you will actively assist the Divisional Director in all related day-to-day functions within the Division across all disciplines, including Production, Packing stations, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Quality Control, etc. Ultimately, ensure the company's long-term financial viability and continuous growth.
Qualifications:
- Related degree or diploma in Agricultural or Business Management.
- Recognized and accredited MBA will be preferential
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior to top leadership position.
- At least 8 years experience as an Operations Head, preferably in a multi-location Agri organisation.
- Direct experience at a senior level and knowledge of managing sales and marketing.
- Experience in fleet and maintenance management.
- Strong all-around general management and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Sound business acumen.
- Non-negotiable food safety and quality management.
- Sound health and safety knowledge and experience.
- Excellent people management knowledge, experience, and skills.
- Sound financial knowledge and experience- controlling costs and driving revenue.
- Ability to develop/formulate/execute strategy
