Domain Architect

Role Responsibilities

• Generating innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
• Designing solutions that require creative investigations of alternative architectural

solutions.

• Designing architecture using new technologies in consultation with the patterns

approval by Enterprise Architecture.

• Collaborating with the Architecture team to identify the right technologies to be used

in the applications.

• Contributing across the technology stack, from database and DevOps infrastructure

that supports continuous deployment.

• Liaising with other teams within and outside client digital unit to identify common

deliverables and dependencies.

• Collaborating with various technical and architecture teams across the enterprise.
• Influencing peers and technical staff within the team and collaborate with internal

customers and work teams across departments.

• Collaborating closely with product owners and team members to identify and

socialise product and delivery risks.

• Working closely with the technical lead/infrastructure teams from the organisation to

ensure solution complies with organisational standards and policies.

• Balancing strategic vision and strategy with the team to enable the execution of

scalable and sophisticated solutions to solve common business needs.

• Acting as the principal designer for the products.
• Designing Architecture diagrams that will help the team and integration partners to

understand the solution and vision.

• Adhering to the relevant Governance processes.
• Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture to propose changes to Principles,

Standards and Reference Architectures.

• Contributing to the development of Detailed Business Cases in conjunction with

Business and IT Solution and Service Providers.

Role Requirements

• 8 - 10 years' experience as Architect
• Relevant IT degree or diploma
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, SAFE and Cloud certification
